Talkeetna Gear Shop was founded in 2022 with the mission to encourage everyone to explore our awesome trail system. The idea began with bicycle rentals, but we quickly realized the demand for a gear shop was also evident. We love getting a good deal and believe in reusing as much as possible - so we also opened Talkeetna’s only used gear consignment shop!

What started as just a table and a small clothing rack has quickly expanded to fill our entire gear room with awesome deals on high quality technical gear. Whether your about to attempt a Denali summit or forgot your pants, stop by! You never know what you can find on our shelves.
