Join us for another hands-on workshop learning techniques in mixed media and create your own one-of-a-kind art piece with Katelin Hiller. This time with a focus on botanicals!

Katelin, is a local artist whose work consists of vibrant and heavily detailed depictions of Alaskan landscapes and botanicals. Her work can be found from Anchorage to Talkeetna (including Talkeetna Gear Shop!) and she shows at galleries nationwide. Her and her husband Matt, a ceramic artist, own Lofted Acre Studios just outside of town.
Expressive Lines, Fluid Color
Katelin will guide you in watercolor and drawing techniques to bring your chosen scene to life. We highly encourage you to choose & print your own botanical reference photo for class. If you are unable to print, email your photo to loftedacrestudios@gmail.com and Katelin will provide a printed copy. If you do not have your own reference photo, you can use one of Katelin’s!
Katelin will provide prepared 5×7” local spruce panels to draw on (just like her work!), plenty of materials and paper to sketch with.
