Join us for a hands-on workshop learning techniques in mixed media and create your own one-of-a-kind landscape art piece with Katelin Hiller.
Katelin, is a local artist whose work consists of vibrant and heavily detailed depictions of Alaskan landscapes and botanicals. Her work can be found from Anchorage to Talkeetna (including Talkeetna Gear Shop!) and she shows at galleries nationwide. Her and her husband Matt, a ceramic artist, own Lofted Acre Studios just outside of town.
Expressive Lines, Fluid Color
Katelin will guide you in watercolor and drawing techniques to bring your chosen scene to life. All you have to bring is a photo or sketch of a landscape that is meaningful to you. Katelin will provide prepared 5×7” local spruce panels to draw on (just like her work!), plenty of materials and paper to sketch with and an array of Alaskan scenes in case you don’t have one.
